Abstract: From May 21 to June 11 1991 seven measuring vans from the Federal Republic of Germany conducted investigations an radioactivity of environmental samples in the Russian Federation. The measurements were concentrated in the areas of Tula, Kaluga and Brjansk, which were contaminated with different concentrations by the accident of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. These investigations were financed by the "Bundesministerium für Umwelt, Naturschutz und Reaktorsicherheit" and aimed at the information of the population. In this report, the measuring campaign is described and the results are presented.
